Rough Training

Holy crap this has been such a long couple of weeks.  Noe and I are really gearing up for this fight on Aug. 27th.

My opponent got changed but I am very happy about it because I am now going to fight at 125 lbs instead of 118.  I was scared about trying to cut down that much.  When I was hitting 122 after workouts for a few days people were starting to comment on how small I was looking, ripped but small.  haha.

Tournament This Weekend
I am going to be leaving for Fri. for the IBJJF Las Vegas Open and the American National Jiujitsu No-gi Tournaments.  It is technically two different tournaments but they are both in the same place on the same day and I was able to register for them both at the same time.  Anyway, I am doing the under 129 for gi and under 135 for no-gi.

I still have to be careful not to eat that much because I will probably be right about 125 or 126 on Sat.  I have to weigh in with my gi on.  The gi I have weighs about 2 or 3 pounds.  I hope I don't have to sweat a bunch the morning of to make weight.

I am also going to do the open division for both the tournys.  I am a little nervous about going against some pretty large women but I think it will be a good experience.

Fight Training
Noe and I have been kicking the crap out of each other in our sparring sessions lately.  It's good to have Noe as my training partner though because I think I don't get as mad about getting hit when it's her rather than when it's one of the guys.  I think Noe is the opposite though, LOL.

My body is sore and I really want to eat some sandwiches and pizza but I am feeling awesome and I am ready to fight.
