. . . and we are back!

I finally finished the bar.  I cannot believe how much time studying took up.  I am glad the timing worked out the way it did though because I think if I had to do one more week, I would have gone crazy.

I have been working out like a mad woman since the bar ended.

I got a little crazy the day after the bar.  I ran 3 miles around 10 am.  Then, at noon, I did traditional Judo/TaeKwonDo class.  Noe had to be back at the studio to teach kids TKD at 4:15 so I did the stairclimber for 40 min. during that class.  Afterward, I ended up doing the climber again because our traditional class for the evening doesn't start up until 6:30.  Noe wanted to get some cardio in so I did the climber on a low setting, 5 I think, while she did her cardio.

Then I did the traditional class again.  After that I went over to the Brazil Academy and did jiujitsu class.  I went ahead and signed up for classes 2x a week.  I think I need to have jiujitsu people to roll with more often, especially since I am planning on doing tournaments.

I signed up for the IBJJF Las Vegas tournament on August 14th.  That is about 2 weeks before my MMA fight.  I should be in great cardio shape and I have been doing a lot of no-gi grappling.  I haven't been working on the gi as much but I am hoping the new jiujitsu classes will give me enough work.

I am well on my way to getting my weight down for this fight.  I have to be at 118.  I weighed 125 after my workouts yesterday.  I think I will be able to do it.  Changing my eating habits has been so hard.  I also have cut down on coffee, which anyone who knows me knows that coffee is my second greatest love.

I'm about to head to the gym.  I'm tired and sore from yesterday.  Noe and I basically kicked the shit out of each other all day.  :-T  I'm glad it's traditional classes today.
